Each new leaf emerges a stunning, garnet red with venation on the back to match. Deep red petioles & red abaxial veins persist after hardening for multiple leaves. Older leaves show some minor light bleaching, for best idea of leaf colour refer to the newer leaves. Plant will continue to produce dark foliage if grown in optimal light
