Its a west facing site at an altitude of 350m and is surrounded by forest. The altitude and cool air from the forest help moderate the climate of the site, resulting in a longer ripening period. The plot is organically farmed, and its isolation from other vines allows Tomiko and her team to limit spraying. Importer Note
