NZ New Zealand 2d Government Insurance Lighthouse SG L21 MUH Stained Militaria Condition is NewThese stamps were especially overprinted for Captain Scott's Antarctic Expedition 1911 3. They were used by his men for their correspondence and sold to collectors at significant premiums to raise money for the expedition. Scott and four of his men died tragically on the return from successfully reaching the South Pole. Only 500 stamps were printed. Sent with Standard Delivery Registered.
